This Privacy Policy explains how Tayzoware handles information when you use TayzoPrompter on Mac, iPhone, and iPad, its connected browser displays, and the TayzoPrompter website.
TayzoPrompter is a teleprompter, presentation, and recording application. Your content is primarily stored on your devices. Connected production features share content with devices you connect, and certain features use Apple services or networking infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Scripts, formatting, projects, settings, and audio or video recordings are stored on your devices or in locations you choose. Storage and backup services associated with those locations may handle your files under their own policies.
In a connected recording session, a camera device can record locally and automatically transfer the recording to the session's host device for review and assembly. For example, an iPhone can record while an iPad displays the script and a Mac receives the recorded media. Transfers are part of the connected workflow and do not require a separate manual export for each recording.
Connected devices may retain their own copies and temporary working files. Deleting content on one device does not necessarily delete copies on another device, exported files, or backups.
Speech Follow and Tayzo Commands use Apple speech recognition to follow spoken text and recognize supported voice commands. Depending on the device, operating system, language, and recognition configuration, processing may occur on the device or through Apple's services. Apple's processing is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
We do not upload your microphone audio to our own servers for speech recognition. When you select a microphone on a connected device, its audio can be transmitted to the device running the recognition feature. Microphone audio may also be used for recording or live monitoring when you enable those features.
TayzoPrompter requests system permissions as needed for features such as microphone input, camera capture, speech recognition, local network connections, and access to files or photos. You can review or revoke permissions in your device's system settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
Connected Mac, iPhone, iPad, and browser sessions can exchange scripts, presentation state, playback controls, device information, and, where supported, live audio, video previews, and recorded media. Only connect devices and join sessions you trust. Participants may be able to see, hear, control, or retain the content shared through their session role.
Connections may use your local network or the internet, depending on the feature. Signaling and relay services help devices establish and maintain connections. These services may process session identifiers, device connection information, IP addresses, and operational data. Content may pass through a relay when a supported connection cannot be made directly.
These services provide connection infrastructure, not a cloud library for your scripts or recordings. Network availability and device capabilities affect which features work.
App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. TayzoPrompter uses purchase and entitlement information to determine available features, subscription status, and introductory-offer eligibility. We do not receive your payment-card details from Apple.
Where direct-distribution licensing is used, activation and validation may process license keys, license status, subscription tier, activation records, device identifiers, device names, and model information. License information may be transmitted to our licensing services and stored using available system security mechanisms on your device.
We use licensing information to provide purchased access, manage activations, and prevent misuse.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, message, and any files or diagnostic information you send. Please avoid sending sensitive scripts or recordings unless they are needed for your support request.
Our website and connection infrastructure use Cloudflare services. The website contact form uses spam protection and an email delivery provider. These providers may process network information and submitted contact details to serve the website, prevent abuse, and deliver your message.
Our systems may retain limited licensing, support, security, and service reliability information. We do not operate a server-side archive of your scripts, recordings, transcripts, or presentation content. Content you intentionally send to support is handled as part of your support request.
Apple provides platform services, speech recognition, and App Store purchasing. Networking, hosting, spam protection, and email providers process information needed to deliver their respective services. Files you export to other apps or storage providers are subject to those providers' practices.
For information about Apple's handling of data, see Apple's Privacy Policy. For Cloudflare, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Local content remains on your devices or in your chosen storage locations until removed, subject to application cleanup of temporary files and your storage or backup settings. Manage copies on each connected device and in any backups separately.
Licensing, activation, support, and operational records are retained as needed to provide those services, resolve issues, prevent fraud or abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information held by Tayzoware. Some records may need to be retained for these purposes.
You can stop connected sessions, change system permissions, delete local content, deactivate a license where supported, and uninstall the application. Manage App Store subscriptions through Apple; uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
TayzoPrompter is intended for general productivity and professional use and is not specifically directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information to us.
We may update this policy as the application or our practices change. The current policy is published on the TayzoPrompter website and is accessible through the application's Privacy Policy links. The date above identifies the latest revision.
